On November 29, 2010, “Human Rights in the XXI Century-Azerbaijan” Foundation finished the tenth training day within its project “Let’s Create Social Inclusion Opportunities for Young Orphans”. The project is funded by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe and implemented by the “Human Rights in the XXI Century-Azerbaijan” Foundation. Trainings cover the topic of social rights as part of human rights and psychological activities in order to provide the young people from orphanages with necessary capacity to integrate into society and to help them to be responsible citizens and free individuals in Azerbaijan. 20 young people, 14-17 year old have been involved in the trainings and the venue for the trainings is the orphanage number 2 in Mardakan settlement of Baku city. Moreover, the training participants live in the orphanage and do not have any parental support and access to social life. The legal part of the trainings is conducted by the professional lawyer Ulviyya Rahimova. On the 10-th day of the trainings, Ms. Rahimova addressed to the topic of employment. She informed the trainees about prohibition of forced labor, working conditions in a healthy environment, fair working conditions as regards pay and working hours. Ms. Rahimova explained to the training participants that, they have the right to refuse any work that can harm their health, ethics and education. At the end of the training the participants were divided into groups and they worked in small focus groups to discuss and find solutions to the cases that they were provided. The professional psychologist, Aynur Babirova delivers the psychological part of the trainings. On the 10-th training day, Ms. Babirova raised awareness of the trainees about stress at work places and how to reduce and manage it. The training participants were divided into small groups and they played a role-playing game describing ways of improving communication skills to avoid stress at work places. At the end of the training, the psychologist explained the importance of finding ways to keep the stress at work under control.
