Head of State Ilham Aliyev issued a decree on the standard (flag) of the President of Azerbaijan. The order determines that standard (flag) of the President of Azerbaijan is an official symbol of the President of Azerbaijan, the President’s press service told APA. Original standard of the President of Azerbaijan is saved in the office of the President of Azerbaijan Republic in the Presidential Palace.
Double of the standard of the President of Azerbaijan can be placed (raised) on the Presidential Residence, on the Presidential Palace, in the rooms considered for the official events attended by the President of Azerbaijan, in other residences when the President resides there, on the buildings or in the rooms where official events and ceremonies attended by the President of Azerbaijan take place, on the means of transport of the President of Azerbaijan.
