Turkish Foreign Ministry does not deny reports on Turkey’s retracting of Nagorno Karabakh term in the talks with Armenia

Turkish Foreign Ministry made announcement on the reports about the Turkey’s retracting of term of liberation of Azerbaijan’s occupied territories for normalization of its relations with Armenia.

The Ministry Spokesman Burak Ozugergin said they did not consider it correct to comment on the reports about the Turkey’s relations with Armenia and Azerbaijan, Turkey’s Embassy to Azerbaijan told APA. “Turkey and Armenia are involved in the process aiming to normalize relations between the two countries. On the other hand, Azerbaijan and Armenia are also in the dialogue process. Both processes are going on in parallel. It is expected that a positive development on one side will have a positive impact on other. We don’t consider it correct to make comment on the occasionally reports in the press based on certain circumstances”.

Armenian service of Radio Liberty spread information about retracting a term of Nagorno Karabakh by Turkey for normalization of its relations with Armenia. The radio quoted one of the participants of the Armenian-Turkish talks as saying that Ankara retracted its previous term of withdrawal of Armenian troops from the occupied lands of Azerbaijan for establishing the official relations and opening the borders with Armenia. The radio claimed that only term of the Turkish government now is the establishing of joint commission of historians for investigation of 1915 events.
