Venice Commission is not planning to hold new discussions with the Azerbaijani government on the Electoral Code, Sergei Kuznetsov, expert of the Venice Commission on elections and referendums told APA. He said the Venice Commission announced its position on the Electoral Code. “We expressed our opinion and continue to keep our position. It will be clear during the election campaign and voting process how the Electoral Code justifies itself”. Sergei Kuznetsov said Secretary of Venice Commission Gianni Buquicchio would visit Baku on July 14-15 to attend the jubilee ceremony of the Constitutional Court. Gianni Buquicchio will also attend the training to be held jointly with the Central Election Commission on the eve of elections.
