“Violation of the territorial integrity of member states is a serious threat to the PACE”
“The territorial integrity of Ukraine and Azerbaijan was overshadowed,” PACE President Anne Brasseur said at the meeting of the PACE Standing Committee in Baku, APA reports.
She noted that violation of the territorial integrity of member states is a serious threat to the PACE: “PACE supports the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan with resolution #1416, adopted in 2005. However, Azerbaijan and Armenia undertook commitments before the PACE that this conflict would be resolved peacefully.”
PACE President also noted that Azerbaijan can rely on the support of PACE during its chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
