Three extracurricular educational institutions were merged, names of other three were changed and one new extracurricular institution was established in Azerbaijan.
According to the decision of Cabinet of Ministers of Azerbaijan, National Center for Children and Youth Development was established on the basis of the National Center for Ecological Education and Practice of the Ministry of Education, Center for Young Tourists and Local History, as well as Children’s Creative Youth Palace.
In addition, the National Technical Creativity Center is renamed to Republican Center of Children’s Creativity, Youth Football School of the Republican Sports Center “Tehsil” to Children and Youth Sports School of the Republican Sports Center, and Nizami district Creative Center of Children and Youth to Children’s Art Center.
However, under the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers on the basis of changes in the list of institutions outside the structures of the Ministry of Education, a specialized Children and Youth Olympic Reserve School #13 was established.
It is noted that the financing of the institutions mentioned above will be financed by funds allocated by the state budget to the Ministry of Education.
