The Azerbaijan House Association, operating in the city of Igdir, Turkey, launched a campaign to collect signatures for suspending the “judicial” process, illegally conducted on Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, taken hostage by Armenians in occupied Kalbajar, from October 27, 2014 and for their immediate release.

The press service of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told APA that organizers of the campaign gathered near Igdir Peace Monument, held Azerbaijani and Turkish flags, photos of hostages, as well as different posters and demanded the release of Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, taken hostage by Armenians in their native lands.

Chairman of Igdir Azerbaijan House Association, Serdar Unsal noted with regret that the international community remained indifferent to brutal murder of Hasan Hasanov in occupied territories of Azerbaijan and illegal detention of our two compatriots for 3 months.

Unsal said the illegal arrest of our compatriots proves that Armenia has never supported peace.

“Armenia both occupies Azerbaijani lands, as well as the illegally detains innocent people. We gathered here today to protest against it. The Azerbaijani hostages should be released as soon as possible,” he added.
