Azerbaijan`s Deputy Prime Minister, chairman of the State Committee for Refugee and IDP Affairs Ali Hasanov has said his country was committed to continuing its cooperation with international humanitarian organizations.
“President Ilham Aliyev, who is continuing the policy of national leader Heydar Aliyev, has ensured Azerbaijan`s socio-economic development. Azerbaijan now has large financial resources. The UN reports describe Azerbaijan as the most rapidly developing country. But this does not mean that we will not cooperate with international organizations. On the contrary, continuing this cooperation will be beneficial for both sides,” he told Secretary General of the Iranian Red Crescent Society Seyed Ahmad Moussavi in Tehran.
Mr. Hasanov praised Azerbaijani-Iranian ties. “It is important that we expand our relations not only in the field of economy, but also in humanitarian area,” he said. The Deputy Premier invited Mr. Moussavi to Azerbaijan.
