Azerbaijan-Russia Joint Commission on Demarcation will hold its first meeting in Moscow on May 14-15. The Foreign Ministry told APA that Azerbaijan will be represented by the co-chair of the commission Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov.
An agreement on demarcating the borders between Azerbaijan and Russia was signed in Baku on September 3, 2010. According to the document, borderline overlaps the border between former Azerbaijan, USSR and Dagestan. Russia is the first country that signed an agreement on the state border of Azerbaijan.
