“Alov” plant of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry is able to meet the needs of the armed forces and law enforcement agencies for optical devices, Director of “Optics-Mechanics” Production Association under the Ministry of Defense Industry, Kamran Asgarov told APA.
Asgarov said the plant is producing 12 types of optical devices; most of them were created in Azerbaijan.
He noted that the protocol of intentions on co-production was signed with Turkey’s ASELSAN company within ADEX 2014 and they would work together with ASELSAN in the modernization of the Armed Forces and other security agencies.
