Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has confirmed the rules on designing the heating supply, natural and artificial lighting, ventilation and acoustics of construction facilities.
APA-Economics reports quoting the Cabinet of Ministers that according to the document, a building is to be designed and constructed so that people do not undergo hazardous radiation, physical, biological, chemical and other impacts. Moreover, residential, public and production buildings are to be supplied with heating system, ventilation system, the rooms are to have natural and artificial lighting, the rooms of residential and public buildings, working zones of production buildings are to be protected from noise.
The design documents are to envisage ventilation system of buildings. The design documents may envisage provision with air conditioning system. Hazardous substances from ventilation and conditioning systems to the rooms or working zones of production facilities should not exceed the norm.
Natural lighting system is to provided to limit dust, humidity, hazardous substances and bad smell from atmosphere, artificial lighting system is to be provided to prevent damage to human health.
Moreover, residential and public buildings are to protected from noise. Noisy processes in case of construction and reconstruction are to be carried out from 09:00 to 18:00 on weekdays, from 10:00 to 14:00 on weekends and holidays.
