Ali Hasanov: I will continue to criticize co-chair countries until I return to my homeland

The three OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries have failed to resolve the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict over the last 20 years. I won’t stop criticizing the Minsk Group co-chair countries until the occupation of our territories is put an end and I return to my homeland. Why should not we talk about this?

Chairman of the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs Ali Hasanov made the remarks Wednesday at the conference titled “Great leader Heydar Aliyev – the founder of the modern Azerbaijani state”, co-organized by the State Committee on Refugees and IDPs, and “Azerbaijan” newspaper on the occasion of the 92nd anniversary of Heydar Aliyev’s birthday.

“The instigators of our problems are Russia, the US and France. My critical opinions are about the officials of Russia, the US and France, but not about their people,” said Hasanov, adding that these countries are trying to prevent a rapprochement of three Muslim countries in the region – Azerbaijan, Turkey and Iran.

He said Russia playes a key role in the presence of the current regime in Armenia, stressing that Dilgam Asgarov and Shahbaz Guliyev, who were taken hostage in Kalbajar, will be certainly released.

“Those people are in our territories. Dilgam Asgarov said in his final plea that he doesn’t recognize “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic”. I will continue to criticize the co-chair states until I return to my homeland,” Hasanov noted.
