“Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty should be taken into account during the solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict”, Hungarian Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsany said, APA reports. He noted that bilateral relations were developed between Hungary and Azerbaijan and the country became strategic partner.
The guest stressed the possibility of cooperation on energy, construction and reconstruction of power stations, protection of environment, communications, food industry and other fields. The Prime Minister added that they wanted to study Hungarian language in one of Azerbaijan’s higher schools and vise versa.
Azerbaijani Prime Minister Arthur Rasizadeh addressing the event noted that Azerbaijan and Caspian region became important factor in energy issue. “Azerbaijan is carrying out three oil and three gas projects presently. These projects consist of various stages. Amount of oil and gas will be increased by realizing the projects”, he said.
Azerbaijani Prime Minister touched upon Nagorno Karabakh conflict and stressed that 20% of Azerbaijani lands were under occupation and the issue was the main problem of the country. He announced that monument on the memory of victims of Khojali massacre will be erected in Hungary and monument on victims martyred during 1956 developments will be erected in Baku.
