On June 26-27, the 13th meeting of the Working Subgroup on Combating Trafficking in Persons and Illegal Migration took place in Kiev on the premises of GUAM Secretariat.
The participants held discussions on national legislation, operational situation and activities of GUAM Member States in the sphere of combating Trafficking in Persons and countering Illegal Migration, including issues of bilateral cooperation. They also exchanged views on development of international cooperation as well as of holding events in the frame of the Subgroup in the course of the year.
The decisions adopted in the outcome of the session of the Subgroup have been formalized in the appropriate Protocol.
The next meeting of the Subgroup will be held in the 4th quarter of 2014.
