A solemn welcoming ceremony was held for President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev in a new residence of the Turkish president.
For the first time, the ceremony took place in open air with the participation of soldiers wearing military uniform which is the symbol of 16 Turkic countries that has existed in history, APA’s correspondent to Turkey reports.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan welcomed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The Turkish delegation was introduced to Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani delegation to Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The presidents posed for official photographs.
Then the presidents started a one-on-one meeting.
