The first training of the Psychological Service Centre was held on October 04, 2014.

As we already know, on March 01, 2014, the Human Rights XXI century-Azerbaijan foundation started a project aiming at creating the Psychological Service Centre for family members of missing persons who live in Baku and need psychological aid. The project is funded by the Council of State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

Within this project, a training course was held for students from various universities` faculties of psychology. The main objective in conducting the training is to take measures in order to provide the access of families of missing persons living in Baku to psychosocial support services and to help specialization of students from faculties of psychology by establishing the Psychological Service Centre and get them involved in the activates of the centre.

During the trainings, our trainers shared the knowledge, experience with the partakers and informed the audience of the creation of the Service Centre, its function and of the work done so far in order to reduce the psychosocial difficulties of people who have lost their family members at war.

I would like to inform you that, the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Centre for Family Members of Missing Persons under the Human Rights XXI century-Azerbaijan foundation functions as Psychological Service Centre effective March 01. 2014.
