I am very concerned about the delay in investigation into murder cases during the March events in Armenia, Terry Davis, Secretary General of the Council of Europe told a press conference amid the PACE session.
Asked whether Armenia has political prisoners, Terry Davis answered that he never referred to this etiquette.
“True, there are people in prisons in Armenia and they have not been given a fair trial,” he added.
He also urged Armenian authorities to make up the delay in the investigation into the murder of 13 people during March events.
In his words, police also have to investigate the case because the establishment of a special commission doesn’t free the police from their duty.
