The summit of the Azerbaijani, Turkish and Georgian presidents will be held in Baku this year, said deputy head of the Georgian Presidential Administration Giorgi Abashishvil, APA reports quoting Georgianpress.
He said the summit which is held every year with the participation of the three countries contributes to the strengthening of Georgia’s geopolitical role.
The first summit took place in Tbilisi last year, the next summit will be held in Turkey.
“The Georgian president attaches special importance to this summit, underlining its importance during his visits to foreign countries. We aim to increase Georgia’s geopolitical role and turn the country into a bridge between Asia and Europe in presence of regional countries,” Abashishvil stated.
He said Georgia places special importance on cooperation with Azerbaijan and Turkey.
