Some 10 European nations have already adopted and signed Strategic Partnership Declarations with Azerbaijan, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Azerbaijan, head of the Administration’s Foreign Relations Department Novruz Mammadov tweeted Nov. 12.
Mammadov was commenting on the results of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s working visit to Hungary.
“The Strategic Partnership Declaration was also signed during President Aliyev’s visit to Hungary,” Mammadov tweeted.
“Personal friendship between President Aliyev and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban was further solidified during the visit,” said the statement.
“Another factor of convergence between the countries is safeguarding of sovereignty being the primary objective.”
“I once again realized that the Hungarian Parliament building is one of the most splendid and grand palaces in the world,” Mammadov tweeted.
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev paid an official visit to Hungary. During the visit, the Declaration on Strategic Partnership between the two countries and a number of agreements were signed.
