Some large-scale projects were cancelled in Azerbaijan because of global financial crisis, president of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) Rovnag Abdullayev told journalists, while answering the question about the problems of oil-gas projects caused by the global crisis and lowering of oil price, APA reports.
Abdullayev said the question was not about the international projects and realization of those projects was continued. He said most of the cancelled projects related to the environmental field. “The long-perspective projects can be delayed until the next years”.
