Prosecutor General’s Office has already received the appeal of Civil Solidarity Party in connection with the death fatwa issued in the picket in Nardaran against the chairman of the party Sabir Rustamkhanli.

Yesterday Civil Solidarity Party appealed to National Security Minister Eldar Mahmudov, Interior Minister Ramil Usubov and Prosecutor General Zakir Garalov asking to provide safety of MP Sabir Rustamkhanli. The appeal says that in the picket held in “Imam Huseyn” square of Nardaran on January 9, Haji Ali Huseynov insulted and threatened Sabir Rustamkhanli and a man called Haji Hikmat offered AZN 50,000 for killing Sabir Rustamkhanli.
The party says that the actions of the persons defending Iran’s “Seher” TV channel, which carries out propaganda against Azerbaijani statehood, threatened national security, asks to launch criminal case on Haji Ali and Haji Hikmat for inciting people to terror and take measures to organize security of Sabir Rustamkhanli.
