President of the National Assembly (Parliament) of Serbia Maja Gojković has arrived in Baku on a visit.
At the Heydar Aliyev International Airport Maja Gojković was welcomed by vice-chairperson of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) of Azerbaijan Bahar Muradova and other officials.
This is her first visit to Azerbaijan as a President of the National Assembly of Serbia, Maja Gojković told the journalists.
The goal of the visit is to develop cooperation between legislative bodies of the two countries, she stressed. “The interparliamentary ties are at high level, and we have to strengthen them through direct dialogue,” President of the National Assembly Serbia emphasized.
