President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) Lluís Maria de Puig is paying an official visit to Azerbaijan. APA reports that PACE President has already visited Alley of Honors and Martyrs’ Alley.
Lluís Maria de Puig will meet with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizadeh, Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and speaker of parliament Ogtay Asadov. PACE President is also expected to meet with members of the parliamentary delegation to PACE, representatives of different political organizations and NGOs, the diplomats accredited in Baku and media representatives.
The meetings will focus on PACE-Azerbaijan relations, pre-election socio-political situation, state of media, resolution on Azerbaijan adopted during summer session of PACE.
