As of December 1, 2014, number of Azerbaijani population made 9,583,200, up 106,100 persons or 1.1% from early 2014.
According to State Statistical Committee, density of population made 111 persons in a km². Each 1,000 men are equal to 1,011 women. 53.2% of population are in cities, 46.8% in villages.
In January-November, 156,200 babies were born in the country. Of this, 53.6% are boys, 46.4% – girls.
50,900 deaths were recorded during nine months.
