The draft convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea is almost ready for signing, Igor Bratchikov, head of the Russian delegation to the multilateral talks on the Caspian Sea, Ambassador-at-large of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said at the international economic forum “Caspian dialogue” on Friday, APA reported citing TASS.
According to him, a big part of the draft convention has been agreed on.
“These parts balance the demands of al the five parties. No more than a few issues remain. We have indeed come very close to the final issue. We have the opportunity to work out a good document to submit to leaders of the countries to be signed,” added Bratchikov.
