Moldovan Ombudsman to attend 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum in Baku

Head of the Moldovan Ombudsman Office Aurelia Grigoriou will attend the second Global Shared Societies Forum to be held in Baku on April 28-29.

The event will be organized by the State Committee on work with Diaspora, Nizami Ganjavi International Center and the Club de Madrid in partnership with the World Academy of Art and Science, the UN, and the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.

Dedicated to Post-2015 global development, the forum will bring together more than 200 public and political figures form 57 countries.

Former Bulgarian, Serbian, Moldovan, Kyrgyz and Israeli presidents, as well as former Latvian President, Co-chair of Nizami Ganjavi International Centre, Club de Madrid President Vaira Vike-Freiberga, Alexandria Library (Bibliotheca Alexandrina) Director, Co-chair of Nizami Ganjavi International Centre Ismail Serageldin, Acropolis Museum President Dimitrios Pandermalis and UNESCO Goodwill Ambassador Marianna Vardinoyannis will be among the participants.

The forum will feature discussions on the area and basis of shared societies, economic pedestals, and ways of settlement in difficult situations.

Last year Ms. Grigoriou condemned the Armenian policy of occupation and aggression against Azerbaijan during her speech in the Armenian Parliament.
