Former Georgian President (2004-2013), member of Nizami Ganjavi International Center, Mikheil Saakashvili will arrive in Baku on April 27 to attend the 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum.
The press service of the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told APA that it will be Saakashvili’s first visit to Azerbaijan after his presidential term ended.
Saakashvili will deliver a speech at the session on “Need for high-level managerial and institutional framework to ensure the sustainable development process” within the forum.
Saakashvili attended the first South Caucasus Forum held in Baku in May, 2013. He attended the forum as a Georgian President. 45 former heads of state and government will attend 2nd Global Shared Societies Forum organized by the Nizami Ganjavi International Center and the Club of Madrid with the support of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora on April 27-30.
More than 150 public, political figures, experts and scientists from 54 countries will take part in the forum.
