A trilateral meeting of Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Chief of the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Army General Necdet Ozel and Chief of the General Staff of the Georgian Armed Forces, Major General Vakhtang Kapanadze started in Ankara on May 4, the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces said.
At the first meeting, the sides will discuss the issues of trilateral military cooperation, regional stability and security, define duties on the provision of security for energy carriers, railway lines and other regional projects and practical mechanisms to fulfill them.
A protocol on the results of the meeting is expected to be signed.
