Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Mahmud Mammadguliyev will visit Strasbourg next week.
APA reports that the Deputy Minister will meet with the Council of Europe Secretary General Thorbjørn Jagland on April 3 in Strasbourg.
They will discuss Azerbaijan-Council of Europe relations, Azerbaijan’s forthcoming chairmanship of the organization and key priorities of six-month chairmanship.
On May 5, Azerbaijan will take over the chairmanship of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe from Austria.
Azerbaijan’s chairmanship will be approved at the ministerial meeting of Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe in Vienna, Austria.
