On November 01, 2010, “Human Rights in the XXI Century-Azerbaijan” Foundation finished the 5-th training day within its project “Let’s Create Social Inclusion Opportunities for Young Orphans”. The project is funded by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe and implemented by the “Human Rights in the XXI Century-Azerbaijan” Foundation. Trainings encompass the topic of social rights as part of human rights and psychological lessons and the venue for the trainings is the orphanage number 2 in Mardakan settlement of Baku city. 14-17 year old 20 young people have been involved in the trainings. Moreover, the participants live in the orphanage and do not have any parental support and access to social life. The legal part of the trainings is conducted by the professional lawyer Ulviyya Rahimova. On the 5-th day of the trainings, the theme of the training was housing. Ms. Rahimova gave general information about housing to the training participants. They discussed the access to affordable housing. At the end of the training, the questions of young orphans about housing and how to possess houses with preferential conditions were answered.
The psychological part of the trainings is conducted by professional psychologist Aynur Babirova. Ms. Babirova trained the participants about “world of sentiments” and aggression. She informed them of positive and negative emotions. The participants showed their emotions by means of various roles playing during the training. The trainer controlled the aggressive reactions and treatment of participants and she gave the trainees psychological recommendations about ways out of the aggressive moments.
