“I agree with the thoughts voiced in the resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in regard with the activity of democratic institutions in Azerbaijan”, said Janni Bukikkio, the Secretary of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe at the press conference held in Strasbourg.
He noted that Azerbaijan was considerably developing, but a number of problems were still in need of elimination. Voicing his attitude to the amendments and annexes made to the Electoral Code, Secretary of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe Janni Bukikkio stated that exercise of Electoral Code was the issue of primary importance.
