He said that Azerbaijan and Iran will sign 10 documents during Rouhani’s visit to Azerbaijan.
Co-chair of the Iran-Azerbaijan intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation Mahmoud Vaezi mentioned that the purchase of electricity from Azerbaijan, use of border rivers, simplification of customs procedures, and expansion of cooperation in cargo transportation, gas, energy, tourism and trade sectors will be discussed during the presidents’ meeting.
“The trading volume between the two countries is presently at $100 million. However, it is possible to increase this amount”, he continued.
