The Azerbaijani Cultural Center in Houston has hosted a commemorative event dedicated to the victims of the tragic events happened on January 20, 1990.
Addressing the event, President of the Center Irada Akhundova spoke about the difficult days for Azerbaijan and the terror committed by the Soviet Army against peaceful Baku citizens.
The event was also attended by Turkish Consul General in Houston Ferhat Alkan. The event ended with the performance of compositions of great Azerbaijani composer Gara Garayev by pianist Tarana Taylor.
