“Azerbaijan support Georgia’s territorial integrity and wants the conflict to be solved basing on this principle,” commenting on the recent developments in Georgia Deputy Foreign Minister Hafiz Pashayev said, APA reports. Deputy Minister said that the solution of this conflict was important not only for Azerbaijan and states of the region, but for the whole world.
Hafiz Pashayev said Azerbaijan will begin to look for new opportunities to export its oil to the world markets, if there is serious threat to Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline as a result of the conflict. Taking a stance on Georgia’s statements on leaving CIS, Deputy Foreign Minister said it was the country’s internal affair.
