OSCE Parliamentary Assembly appointed a special rapporteur on the situation in Georgia and South Ossetia. Goran Lenmarker, OSCE former president and Swedish parliamentarian, has been appointed to this post, APA reports quoting Georgia-Online website.
OSCE sources said Goran Lenmarker would support the process of conflict settlement at the level of parliaments. The rapporteur is looking forward to visit Russia and Georgia with this aim. He will submit his first report on the situation in the region at the OSCE PA session next month. Goran Lenmarker is also the special representative of OSCE PA President on Nagorno Karabakh conflict.
