Azerbaijan will apply a new technology on conscription from October, Nureddin Heydarov, head of the public relations department of the State Service for Mobilization and Conscription told APA.
According to Heydarov, the new technology pertains to information via SMS.
The draftees will be able to learn at which troops or military unit they are going to serve by simply sending their identification card number to 9100.
Work on the system is almost finished.
The draftees will be able to send a short message to 9100 through all mobile operators.
