A former member of Russian State Duma and former commander of special Chechen battalion “Vostok” Ruslan Yamadayev was killed Wednesday in Moscow, APA reports quoting Russian web sites.
An unknown gauze-masked man fired on his Mercedes S 600 in Smolensk Street at 17.15 by Moscow time. The murderer came up to his car that stopped at a red light and shot Ruslan Yamadayev from the driver’s side of the armored car with the Cedar pistol. The killer escaped from the site in Audi-80. Some witnesses said there were two men gunned down Yamadayev. Russian General Sergei Kiziun, former military administration commander in Chechnya, was also in the car and was wounded. A criminal case was launched on the fact and investigation is going on.
