According to report, Azerbaijan passed laws in the spheres of health care, ecology, health protection and medical assistance. But the efforts should be continued and reach the European countries’ indicators. It is noted that, since 1990, Azerbaijan achieved a little progress in the indicator of average life. Thus, in 2006, this indicator was 62 years for men and 66 years for women. But these indicators are very low comparing to European countries. Average Life in European Union is 75,2 among men and 81,5 among women.

Committee called Official Baku for steps to decrease the level of death and emphasized that the most widespread reason for death is heart-vascular diseases. Organization also called Baku for effective struggle with tuberculosis. The Committee also asked Azerbaijan to deliver reports on free social services, whether these services are free for low-income people.
