Chairman of Iran’s Culture and Islamic Communications Organization Abuzar Ibrahimi Turkman has said cultural and religious relations between Azerbaijan and Iran were developing as he met Chairman of the Clerical Office of Caucasus Muslims Sheikh-ul-Islam Allahshukur Pashazade.
They exchanged views on bilateral relations, as well as religious issues.
Mr. Pashazade spoke of historical fraternal and friendly relations between the two nations, adding these ties contributed to developing cooperation in political, economic, religious and cultural fields.
He also hailed the role of the two countries` presidents in strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries.
Abuzar Ibrahimi Turkman praised the deepening of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Iran on various fronts. The Chairman of Iran’s Culture and Islamic Communications Organization said he had eye-witnessed big development processes in Azerbaijan.
Prior to the meeting, Abuzar Ibrahimi Turkman visited Tazapir mosque complex in Baku.
