There was an Azerbaijani woman among the passengers of the Turkish Airlines aircraft, which crashed while landing at Amsterdam airport, APA reports quoting Turkish news agencies.
Rana Musayeva’s name is in the list publicized by Turkish Airlines. But it is not known whether Rana Musayeva died, or injured.
The aircraft, which took off from Istanbul at 10.22 (Baku time), broke into three parts when it hit the ground next to the runway. There were 135 passengers and crew on board.
Official of Turkish Transport Ministry Suat Kheyri Aka said 7 were killed, 50 injured in the crash. 25 of the injured are in critical condition.
Dutch television reports that at least 9 have been killed in the crash. Two of those killed in the crash were crew members.[/left]
