Solider of the Azerbaijani Army Rustam Izzet oglu Azizov, born in 1995, who was killed as a result of fire opened by Armenian armed forces has today been laid to rest in the Tukash village of Astara District, his birthplace.
According to APA’s south bureau, Azizov’s funeral was attended by soldiers and officers of the military unit where he had served and representatives of the Astara District Executive Authority, law enforcement bodies as well as the district’s community.
Extending their deepest condolences to the soldier’s family, participants at the funeral mentioned that he has sacrificed his life for the homeland and joined eternity.
Out of respect, soldier Azizov was buried under volley fire.
Note that, Rustam Azizov, 19, a soldier of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces serving at a military unit located on Aghdam front, was shot to death as Armenians shattered the ceasefire at around 12:45 Nov. 20. Azizov had been drafted from Astara District. He would be demobilized in January 2015.
