Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Monday arrived in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on an official visit.
At the Abu Dhabi Presidential Airport, the Azerbaijani head of state was welcomed by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, and other officials.
Then an official welcoming ceremony was held for the Azerbaijani president at the airport.
A guard of honor was lined up for President Ilham Aliyev and the national anthems of the two countries were played.
The chief of the guard of honor reported to the Azerbaijani president.
