Following the official welcoming ceremony, presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia met in private.
During the meeting, the presidents praised development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia in a variety of fields.
They expressed confidence that relationship between the two countries would continue to develop.
The Azerbaijani and Georgian presidents also discussed issues of mutual interest.
After talking behind closed doors, presidents Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan and Mikheil Saakashvili of Georgia were joined by their countries` delegations for an expanded meeting.
