Azerbaijani FM to make a tour of Latin America

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will make a tour of Latin America.
The tour will begin with a visit to Colombia on July 24-25 and then the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan will visit Argentina, Uruguay and Peru, diplomatic sources told Trend on Monday.
It is planned that part of the visit is to discuss prospects of development of Azerbaijan’s cooperation with these countries in the political and economic spheres.
During the visit, Mammadyarov will be accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Economic Development Niyazi Safarov, and a group of Azerbaijani businessmen. It is planned to hold business forums in these countries.
Azerbaijan’s relations with Latin America increased significantly with the opening of the Azerbaijani embassies in Mexico and Argentina.
