“I don’t think that co-chair countries will jointly try to search a common denominator within the Minsk Group”

Baku. Anakhanim Idoyatova – APA. “We can not say there is an intensification in the negotiations on settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict. Opposite side has not changed its position and no tendency is expected for change”, Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov told journalists, APA reports. He noted that Baku has always made a complaint about the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs: “In the current geopolitical situation, the co-chair countries’ relations regarding what is happing in Ukraine have become aggravated more. I don’t think that the co-chair countries will jointly try to search a common denominator within the framework of the Minsk Group. Event, if they want to create a view of solution in the Minsk Group, this also does not meet our interests. Meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian foreign ministers was regular. As far as I understand and assess the situation, Armenian foreign minister holds negation position. Azerbaijani side can never be satisfied with such situation”.

As for the presidential meeting, Azimov said he would not be able to comment on this.
