Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov has received Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun, the Defense Ministry told APA.
The sides discussed the activities carried out to develop the Armed Forces of both countries, the importance of bilateral cooperation and the resolution of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over Nagorno Karabakh.
They also exchanged views on the prospects of ties between Azerbaijani and Turkish Armed Forces and other issues.
Turkish military attaché in Azerbaijan, Brigadier General Hasan Nevzat Tasdeler also attended the meeting.
