Military units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces are conducting next large-scale exercises on the frontline under the leadership of Azerbaijan’s Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, APA reports.
Fires were opened from armored vehicles, rocket-artillery, mine launchers, small arms, as well as military aircraft and air defense systems were used during the exercises.
The level of combat readiness of the military units was checked, more rapid and effective implementation of the tasks, operations by headquarters, co-ordination of activities were studied during the exercises. The exercises focused on the level of implementation of the tasks set forth.
