zerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has separately met Armenian counterpart Edward Nalbandian as a continuation of Kyiv meeting in Paris on January 23-24, spokesman of Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry Elman Abdullayev told in a press statement, APA reports.
During the meeting substantive, concrete and intensive discussions were held on the settlement of Armenian – Azerbaijani conflict. Definitely stressing Azerbaijan’s position, FM Elmar Mammadyarov noted that the earlier Armenian Armed Forces will be withdrawn from the occupied territories of Azerbaijan, the faster settlement of the conflict can be reached within international law.
The sides also agreed on continuation of the discussions with the co-chairs on the substantive issues.
“Reinvigoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan is the main subject of the discussions between Azerbaijan and Armenia”, reads the press statment
