Azerbaijani and Turkish Armed Forces will conduct two joint exercises in Turkey this year, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry told APA.
During “Light-2015” and “Anatolian Eagle 2015” exercises, opportunities for the two countries’ servicemen to carry out joint operations will be increased.
Servicemen of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces will also attend national exercises to be at the Turkish Armed Forces.
Azerbaijani and Turkish Armed Forces held joint tactical exercises in Baku and Nakhchivan in July, 2013, joint field training in Kars in February, 2014, and Azerbaijani and Turkish Air Forces held exercises for the first time in Azerbaijan in September-October, 2014.
