Azerbaijani Parliament will discuss long-delayed draft law on children’s rights during spring session.
The Parliament told APA that the new draft law on “Juvenile judiciary” has already been included in the working plan of the spring session.
International practice was studied and experts of international organizations were involved in the development of the draft law. Juvenile judiciary envisages liberalization of punishments for juveniles, qualification of courts, prosecutors and lawyers on juvenile crimes.
